Project summary
New stadium pitch at the home of the Blues
The following scope of works was carried out in accordance with the specification produced by Andy Cole of iTurf:
- Removal and disposal of the existing pitch surface
- Regrade lower sand profile to create new pitch levels
- Import and spread lower sand top up and upper rootzone layer
- Preparation and seeding of pitch surface
- Installation of SISGrass hybrid pitch reinforcement system
- Installation of new pitch surrounds synthetic carpet.
The project was completed in summer 2023 ready for the 2023/2024 EFL Championship season.
