As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a driven and versatile Logistics Co-Ordinator to help our controlled expansion while keeping our operations running like clockwork.

This is position for someone who thrives on creating order and progress from many moving parts and variable inputs, and therefore having a positive impact on our project teams and our customers. You’ll be at the forefront of managing the logistics that make our projects possible. Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Operations
- Plan and coordinate logistics for multiple fast-turnaround projects across the UK
- Manage transport, equipment, and crew scheduling along with our General Manager and Project Leaders to ensure smooth delivery
- Work alongside our General Manager develop inventory, procurement, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
- Troubleshoot operational challenges with agility and confidence
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in logistics, or operations—ideally in construction, sports turf, or events
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities
- A proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Premier Pitches is based on the southern outskirts of Sheffield between junction 29 and junction 30 of the M1. The company was started over 20 years ago by Carl Pass (Director), and Premier Pitches has grown steadily to its current position as one of the UK and Europe’s leading sports turf contractors.
Alongside standard pitch reconstruction and renovation, we specialise in the renovation and construction of reinforced sports pitches and have an extensive range of modern machinery and equipment associated with the management of these pitches.
Our key personnel are highly experienced and all come from a grounds-management or green keeping background and as such we are well informed and able to understand the needs of modern sports turf managers.
